The Children’s Centre Committee of the University Women’s Association oversees the day-to-day running of the library. For the first ten years of operation, members of the committee and community youth volunteers maintained the library and its services.

Professional Assistance Provided by the Department of Library and Information Science

CCL serves as a teaching laboratory for the Department of Library and Information Science of the University of Nigeria, whereby library science students use CCL for their practical exercises and the Department provides administrative and professional assistance in maintaining the library.
